Jaron Leasure spent countless hours on the practice green in college searching for evidence he could trust when a putt mattered.
Scored performance games changed his approach. A five-foot test gave each attempt a purpose, encouraged a full routine, and created a result he could measure.
Facing a five-footer to make a cut in Australia, Jaron drew confidence from the practice results he had already earned.
From scorecards to a spreadsheet.
Jaron began recording games on scorecards and transferring the results into an Excel spreadsheet his dad helped build. The feedback was valuable, but the process took time.
Preparing for a Korn Ferry Tour Monday qualifier in Knoxville, he wondered whether the games, logging, and analysis could live together in one simple tool.
With no coding background, Jaron used the tools available to turn that idea into an app. PuttingAce grew from a personal practice tool into structured games, performance analysis, and fast on-course putting tracking.
